Garage Owner Terms
Version 1 ยท Effective October 25, 2026
Fix Ya Ride, Inc.
Agreement
These Garage Owner Terms are between you and Fix Ya Ride, Inc., a Texas corporation ("we", "us"). They apply in addition to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which you also accept.
You list a garage or bay on the Platform so that independent mechanics can rent space to do their work. We provide the marketplace; we are not a party to the rental between you and a mechanic except as these terms describe.
You are an independent business
You are not our employee, agent or partner. You control your premises, your hours, your pricing and who may use your space, within these terms and applicable law.
Your listing
Your listing must be accurate and current, including your address, photos, bays, equipment, hours, rules and pricing. You must have the legal right to rent the space, including any permission your landlord, lease or local rules require.
We may verify your identity and your property, and may remove a listing that is inaccurate, unsafe or unlawful.
Where listings operate
The Platform currently serves Texas only. Listings outside the area we serve are not offered.
Bookings and cancellations
Mechanics book your space through the Platform. You choose a cancellation policy for your garage, and you agree to honor confirmed bookings.
You can cancel at no charge until your mechanic is on the way (prepaid appointments are refunded in full). If you cancel after your mechanic has started driving to you and within 30 minutes of your appointment time, a $15.00 fee applies. It goes to your mechanic for the trip, and the rest is refunded.
Pricing, platform fee and payouts
The price a mechanic pays for your space includes the platform fee we keep for operating the marketplace. Your net amount is shown before a booking is confirmed.
Payouts are released after the booking is complete and a 24 hours hold has passed, unless released sooner. Payouts go to your connected Stripe account.
Payouts and clawback
If we refund a mechanic, or settle a dispute in the mechanic's favor, for a booking at your garage, you owe us that amount. We will reverse what your Stripe balance allows and net any remainder against your future transfers until it is repaid.
Insurance and liability
You must carry commercial general liability or garage-keepers insurance that covers your premises and the activity you permit. You may require mechanics to carry insurance as a condition of booking, and you must say so in your listing.
You are responsible for the condition and safety of your premises and equipment. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from them, or from your breach of these terms, to the extent Texas law allows.
Safety and equipment
Your bays and equipment must be safe and as described. Report any incident at your garage through the Platform promptly.
Keeping bookings on the Platform
You will not arrange or accept payment from a mechanic you met through the Platform outside the Platform to avoid its fees.
Reliability and strikes
We record a strike when you cancel a confirmed booking without good cause or deny a mechanic access to a booked bay. Repeated strikes may lead to suspension or removal of your listing.
Location and messages
We keep location data for 90 days and chat messages for 3 years.
Arbitration and class action waiver
Disputes between you and us are resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association, instead of in court, except for individual small claims. You and we each waive jury trial and class or representative proceedings.
You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these terms by emailing support@fixyaride.com.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by Texas law. Claims that may be brought in court must be brought in Denton County, Texas.
